Parish Tractor Tip: If you're deciding between the 65 and 75 HP classes, the extra rated operating capacity on the SVL75-2 is worth it once you're regularly running pallet forks or a grapple loaded near capacity.
A skid steer earns its keep on almost any job site: loading, lifting, grading, and clearing, all with the ability to swap attachments in minutes instead of switching machines. Parish Tractor rents Kubota track loaders across our Gulf Coast locations, backed by the Kubota Orange Rental Program.
Not sure if a skid steer is the right equipment for your project? Our full Rental Guide breaks down when renting makes more sense than buying, and covers our full equipment lineup beyond just skid steers.
Skid steer often gets used as a catch-all term, but there are actually two distinct types: wheeled skid steers and tracked skid steers (also called compact track loaders). Parish Tractor's rental fleet is entirely Kubota's SVL Series track loaders, which trade a bit of top speed for significantly better traction and stability on soft, muddy, or uneven ground, a real advantage across much of the Gulf Coast.
If you're planning your next landscaping project, construction job, agricultural task, or property improvement, contact your local Parish Tractor dealership to learn more about available rental equipment and find the right machine for the work ahead.
The right attachment turns one rental into the tool for the job:

Contractors renting for a job site, landscapers handling a large installation, and property owners tackling land clearing or storm cleanup all turn to a skid steer for the same reason: one machine, several jobs, without owning several machines.
